This stainless-steel watch features a unidirectional black bezel and a dial with luminous hour markers and a date display at three o'clock. The 41 mm stainless-steel case has a synthetic-sapphire dial window, and the watch is powered by a Swiss quartz movement with an analog display. The watch is fitted with a rubber band with a buckle closure and is water-resistant to 200 m (660 ft), making it suitable for professional marine activities and serious surface water sports, but not for scuba diving.
The design of this timepiece is simple and bold, reminiscent of the vibrant colors on a Formula 1 car. The fine-brushed steel case contrasts with the black titanium carbide coating on the unidirectional bezel and the "easy-grip" crown. The jet-black or white dial is beautifully complemented by hand-applied markers and the classic red Tag Heuer logo. The black rubber strap completes the subdued, yet audacious, look of the watch.
